Margaret Rodgers

PERSONAL TRAINER

I’ve always been active, playing softball from elementary school all through college. I now love taking advantage of all the outdoor recreational opportunities that New England has to offer - biking, hiking, and paddling. After college, I worked at the program, Girls on the Run. That’s when I discovered my passion for coaching and decided to pursue my personal training certification through a 9-month program that provided critical hands-on experience and a certification with NASM.

After becoming certified, I realized that there was a huge gap – how to help clients through the psychological and emotional shifts that come with any behavior change. I obtained a Master’s Degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Vermont and several certifications in nutritional coaching, mobility, and sleep, stress management, and recovery.

Approaching personal training from all these different angles allows me to support clients with all the behavior changes that come with living a long, strong, and durable life. Our bodies are designed to move in ways that align with our daily needs. Time in the gym should be spent moving in ways that directly support whatever those needs are. When we work together, you’ll know what you’re doing and why. As your goals and life seasons change, our work will adapt too.
